Susana manages and develops our internal finance functions worldwide. Before joining a-connect she spent 6 years with EF (worldwide education) where she developed finance functions in countries such as The Netherlands, Switzerland and Brazil. Susana holds an Economics degree from the University of Oporto, Portugal.
Sara manages and develops a diverse range of clients with a focus on transportation and logistics. She actively supports the expansion of our talent pool in Latin America. Prior to joining a-connect, Sara was part of the management team of Ferrovial for 8 years, most recently serving as Strategy Director for Ferrovial Aeropuertos and EVP Business Development Swissport International. Sara worked for McKinsey in South America and Europe between 1997 and 2003. She holds an MA in Economics from Georgetown University (ILADES) and is a Wharton Advanced Management Program alumnae.
Stefan manages and develops a broad range of clients with special attention to life sciences, healthcare, public sector, consumer goods, and insurance. Before joining a-connect, he was with McKinsey for seven years and led, among other activities, the international McKinsey service line on Integrated Care/Care management. Prior to McKinsey he founded and directed the opera ensemble Pasticcio Renano in Switzerland. Stefan holds a PhD and M.A. in musicology from the University of Basel as well as a diploma in music from Schola Cantorum Basiliensis. In addition to his a-connect work, he is active as special representative of Baltic Sea Forum Foundation (Germany) at United Nations in New York.
Nadia is responsible for expanding and developing our pool of independent professionals in Europe and providing professional resources for client projects. Prior to a-connect, Nadia spent several years with international recruitment consultancies in Switzerland and worked for Reuters in Switzerland and the UK . Nadia holds an MBA from the University of St. Gallen/ESADE and an MA in History, Spanish Linguistics and Literature from the University of Zurich.
Hanne covers a wide range of industries including consumer goods, professional and financial services. She was formerly a partner with McKinsey & Company. Before that, she worked with Procter & Gamble in brand management for the Scandinavian and French export markets. Hanne serves as a Member of the Board of Directors of AB Volvo, Sandvik, and the IMD Foundation. She holds a MBA from IESE.
Andrea supports the daily operations of the Zurich office and handles all customer service issues with clients, IPs and suppliers. Before joining a-connect and moving to Switzerland she lived in London for 4 years and worked last for Quintessentially – an international concierge company. Andrea was educated in a post-high school course in Business Management.
Nils manages and develops clients in the financial services, industrial, healthcare and telecom industries. He is also responsible for expanding our talent pool in Europe. He was most recently a director with McKinsey & Company and co-leader of the firm's European corporate finance and strategy practice. He previously worked as an account manager with Citibank in Zurich. He holds a business/economics as well as a law degree from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland.
Markus manages and develops clients with a focus on health care and life sciences. Prior to joining a-connect, he was at Novartis, first in the Strategic Planning Group and then in leading roles in marketing & sales with Novartis Spain. Prior to that, he was the co-founder of a Biotech Venture Capital form in Zurich and was also with McKinsey & Co for four years. He holds an INSEAD MBA and an MSC in Biotechnology from the ETH Zurich.
Nele is responsible for business building, supporting client relationships and expanding our talent pool in Europe. She holds a M.A. in Marketing, Services and Communication Management from the University of St. Gallen (HSG).
Florin is responsible for business building, supporting client relationships and expanding our talent pool in Europe. He holds a BA from the University of St. Gallen (HSG).
Jeanine is responsible for global contracting and handles all customer service issues for our German clients, independent professionals, and suppliers. Prior to a-connect she worked six years as an event and sales manager. She holds a degree in business administration.
Walt manages and develops clients in the European market with a focus on the life sciences and other B2B industries. He is also responsible for expanding our talent pool in South America. Prior to a-connect Walt was with eLoyalty (CRM strategy consultancy), the United Nations and the US Peace Corps. He holds a MBA from IMD and a BS from Cornell University.
Thiemo manages and develops clients in the financial services and life science industries. Prior to joining a-connect, Thiemo was Partner at Arthur D. Little where he worked with clients on strategic issues across industries and led the global financial services activities. He also taught business strategy at the Hult International Business School in Boston. A two-time Fulbright scholar, he holds an MBA from the University of Maryland, and studied Business Administration at Otto-von-Guericke University in Magdeburg, Germany.
Bernhard is the CFO of a-connect and leads the Legal and IT functions. He also manages and develops clients primarily in consumer and industrial goods industries. He holds an MBA from INSEAD and a BA from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland.
Sandra is responsible for our Swiss operations and independent professional recruiting in Europe. She also is responsible for on-going systems and process improvements in a-connect's operations firm-wide. Previously she worked for Swissair. She holds a high school degree (Matura) and a diploma in HR management.
